What is a 'Try Dive' ?
A 'Try Dive' will give you a brief introduction to breathing
waist deep water , taking you through
some basic underwater skills that include :
5. Mask Clearing . 6. Respect for Aquatic life .
7. Importance of watching and staying close to the Instructor .
Who can enroll ?
The only requirements are that you're at least 10 years old ,
and of course you should have an interest in diving .
How long does this all take ?
Total session can last between thirty minutes to an hour
with a maximum depth of 6 meters. Those who are not
comfortable swimmers would prefer the shorter session .
Who can conduct this session ?
Only Dive Masters with DSD certification and under direct
supervision of an Instructor with no more than 2 adults(15 yrs & over)
per DM during each session . .Please ask to see and verify your
Dive masters certification card with photograph to ensure your SAFETY .
Which agency / dive centre to sign up with ?
Most metros have Professional Dive Centres / Schools ,
you can also enroll on a beach / island holiday in the
Andaman & Nicobar /Lakshadweep & Minicoy islands as well as
Goa , Pondicherry.(coastal beaches in India have low visibility
conditions and are not recommended) .Look out for acredited
Professional agencies like PADI , CMAS , SSI , NAUI BSAC
to make your first experience memorable and to Ensure Your SAFETY .
Do I become a certified diver after this ?
A 'Try Dive' doesn't get you a Scuba Diving Certification .
It allows for a short entry level experience of what it is to be
underwater with scuba gear. It allows a tick off your bucket list
and a photograph of yourself underwater with scuba gear for
your Face Book page . Those wanting more can next go for
a Discover Scuba Diving experience in open water or

Protocol during a dive ?
Specially if you are a young lady . A Professional will not
hold you by any part of your body, he may offer to let you
hold his hand for your sense of comfort and well being ,
he will steer and guide you vide your BCD jacket or
